We are happy to provide you with a superbill, which is a simple receipt you can send to your insurance company to ask for reimbursement or to use your HSA/FSA card.
Think of a superbill like a “receipt for therapy” that helps your insurance know what you paid for. Every insurance plan is different.
Before starting sessions, make sure to check with your insurance about what’s covered. We want you to feel informed. Neither She Is Resilience nor Giovonni Hinton can promise your insurance will pay or reimburse for your sessions.
Insurance note
Before seeking counseling, check with your insurance provider about out-of-network reimbursement. Here are three important questions to ask:
You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate that explains the expected cost of your care.
By law, healthcare providers must give patients who don’t use insurance, or who are paying out of pocket, an estimate of the costs for medical services, tests, prescriptions, equipment, and related fees.
You can request a Good Faith Estimate for any non-emergency service, and your provider should give it to you in writing at least 1 business day before your appointment or service.
You can also request estimates from multiple providers before scheduling to help you plan and compare costs.
If you receive a bill that is $400 or more higher than your Good Faith Estimate, you have the right to dispute the charge.
Be sure to keep a copy or take a photo of your Good Faith Estimate for your records.
